• Student Government

  Members of Student Life & 治理(SL&G, also a (s)Elective) work closely with school administration as representatives of the Upper School for Girls student body, alongside the Upper School for Boys governance group. Serving on either the Community Board or Mission Board as elected officers 和/or volunteer board members, these students examine 和 shape policies, facilitate meetings, 和 plan community events in ways that address the needs of their grade level constituents 和 the school at large.

• Student Ambassadors

  Student Ambassadors work closely with 安妮·赖特 Advancement staff as students representing the Upper School for Girls for external audiences, including community members, prospective families, 和 incoming students. These students attend regional events, provide campus tours, 和 serve on panels to tell the 安妮·赖特 story.

• 寄宿的级

  寄宿的级 are selected in their senior year to work closely with resident staff to build a vibrant 和 nurturing dorm community. Each Prefect is responsible for leading a specific dorm group, by way of facilitating weekly check-ins, planning community-building activities, designing “All-Dorm Fun” programming, 和 being an active listener, role model 和 advocate for all resident students.

• 荣誉委员会

  荣誉委员会 Members are nominated 和 elected by peers 和 faculty to uphold the School’s Honor Code. If an Upper School student makes a mistake, 荣誉委员会 members guide that student 通过 a confidential hearing to reflect on choices, support accountability 和 learning, 和 design consequences to allow for community restoration.

• 辅导

  辅导 allows Upper Schoolers to support 较低的 和 even Middle School students in academic areas such as math 和 language.

• Chapel Planning Committee

  Chapel Planning Committee members volunteer to work with the school’s Chaplain to design 和 deliver the Chapel program. This group identifies topics, structures the format, 和 have the opportunity to lead the weekly divisional program by carrying the flags, reading opening reflections, 和/or introducing guest speakers. 

• Global Ambassadors

  Global Ambassadors apply to be leaders in upholding 和 extending the IB Programme’s commitment to International Mindedness by partaking in one of our International Exchange programs 和 designing the USG’s annual GlocalFest seminar - a daylong program which examines global issues in local contexts.

• College Ambassadors

  College Ambassadors apply to be formal student hosts for college admissions representatives who visit the AWS campus 通过out the fall season. These students are welcoming 和 confident in showcasing academic 和 student life at AWS, helping set the stage for college admissions guests to underst和 our program 和 recognize the diversely talented students within it.
